You can pray to the Runescape gods to increase certain skills for a limited amount of time. To use prayer click on the magic book then select prayer. The prayers that are written in white you can do. The prayers written in black you can't do. To use a click on it when the prayer is in use the prayer will be green. To turn off the prayer just click on it again. When you use prayer it will slowing bring down your prayer points to zero. When you run out of prayer points your prayer will deactivate. The only way to recharge your prayer is to recharge at an alter or to use payer restore potion. Once you recharge at an alter you can use all your prayer again. To increase your prayer level you bury bones from monsters. Bones give you 3.75 exp. and big bones give you 12.5 exp. points. Below is a chart of all the prayers and there drain rate.
