Ranging is a very important skill in Runescape. Range is used to attack an enemy from a distance. You can use range to attack monsters or other players that are behind a fence, gate, or are in jail. It is good if you are pk'ing in the wilderness with a friend. Your friend can go in hand in hand combat with the enemy while you can arch.


How To Arch
1. Wield the Bow/Crossbow in your inventory by clicking on it.
2. Make sure that you have some Arrows/Bolts in your inventory.
3. Click on a monster/player to shoot.
4. When the monster attacks you, you will immediately put away your bow and fight with your fists.
